Natalie's Chocolate Covered Strawberries
In all fairness, we can't take credit for this delicious treat! Our newest team member, Natalie created this recipe while experimenting with our coconut butters! What a genius idea!
I love the summertime because it means strawberries are back in season. They are sweet, juicy and fun to eat. One of my favorite go-to snacks to make is chocolate covered strawberries. This past Memorial Day I decided to make this treat for my family but with a little twist. To make it even more chocolate-y and delicious, I added Nikki’s Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie Coconut Butter to the mix. A subtle hint of coconut and hazelnut flavors adds an extra flair to put these strawberries over the top! Make this summertime sweet for your next get-together.
1 package of strawberries
1/3 cup melting chocolate
-Thoroughly wash and dry strawberries, set aside. This step is extra important so the chocolate mixture will stick to the strawberries and not slide off if they are still moist.
-Combine chocolate and Nikki’s Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie coconut butter in small bowl.
-Microwave for 30 seconds and stir. Melt for an additional 30 seconds, if needed.
-Dip strawberries in chocolate/ coconut butter mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate shell has formed.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
